RTD bus involved in crash near 8th Avenue and York Street; no serious injuries reported

DENVER – An RTD bus crashed in front of a building Tuesday evening near the intersection of 8^th Avenue and York Street, but the Denver Fire Department says no serious injuries were reported.

The crash happened just after 8:30 p.m. The bus was involved in a crash with two vehicles, but a fire spokesperson said it did not hit the nearby building despite going up and over a sidewalk.

Though information on the crash is limited, a Denver police spokesperson also said there were no serious bodily injuries in the crash.

Officials say a bus driver and another passenger were on the bus when the crash happened. A man, his wife and two kids were in one of the other vehicles involved.
