Robbers hit two 7-Eleven stores in Denver within an hour early Thursday morning. The robbers are still on the loose.
Denver Police said two people went into the store at Colorado Boulevard and East 16th Avenue at about 3:55 a.m. and robbed the store at gunpoint.
The suspects fired two shots at a clerk but missed - and the clerk chased them out of the store, police at the scene told Denver7.
Officers canvassed the area looking for the suspects but didn't find anyone.
Then, less than an hour later, two robbers then hit another 7-Eleven just three miles away - at Yosemite Street and East 11th Avenue, police confirmed.
Police said they believe the robberies are connected.
Investigators have not released a description of the suspects.
