DENVER — Denver is working to redevelop Brighton Boulevard as the RiNo District in Denver continues to thrive.
Mayor Michael Hancock was on hand Thursday for the groundbreaking. The plan is to add more sidewalks, bike lanes, street lighting and on-street parking on Brighton Boulevard from 29th Street to 44th Street.
Mayor Hancock wants it to serve as the northern gateway to downtown.
Thursday was the first phase of the project. Most of the improvements should be completed by winter of next year.
