DENVER — Union Station in downtown Denver was evacuated Saturday night following a report of a suspicious package, the Denver Police Department said in a tweet.
Around 8 p.m., security with the Regional Transportation Authority told Denver7 that the situation was "all fine now." Denver police tweeted shortly after that the package was cleared, and people were being allowed back in.
It's unclear where at the transportation and entertainment facility the suspicious package was reportedly found.
Denver police were notified of the suspicious package at 6:39 p.m. The Denver Police department tweeted at 7:49 p.m.
Police in Denver said Union Station was evacuated as a precaution.
