PUEBLO, Colo. – Police arrested a man suspected in an early-morning homicide in northeastern Pueblo just before noon.
Officers were called to the 900 block of Alexander Circle around 4:20 a.m. Tuesday on reports of a person dealing with “emotional problems,” the Pueblo Police Department said in a Facebook post.
When police arrived, they found a man dead at the home. He appeared to have been shot, police said.
As officers were setting up a perimeter, they saw a man run out of the basement on the back side of the house. Officers warned neighbors within a three-block radius of the suspect and told them to lock their doors.
Police couldn’t find the suspect, identified as Lorin Predovich, 43.
But he was seen by an off-duty police officer and arrested not long before noon near Bonforte and Hunter.
Police say the homicide remains under investigation.
