Pueblo Police buy $100 in groceries for scam victims

PUEBLO, Colo. — Pueblo police officers bought $100 in groceries for two elderly women who were recently victimized by a scam artist.

Police are looking for a Hispanic man in his 50s who has been going around posing as an employee of the water company. Once invited inside, he burglarizes the home and takes off in a GMC or Chevy pickup. 

The man recently targeted the victims’ home and made off with cash. Officers collected donations amongst themselves and covered the loss.
