DENVER – Someone fired shots into a Denver home early Wednesday, hitting a woman who was sleeping inside.
Denver police responded to a home in the 1100 block of Willow Street around 12:45 a.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
When they arrived, officers found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to an area hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Police said they did not have a description of the suspect or suspects but officers believed whoever was responsible was on foot and shot into the house.
