Man uses bag to hold up a Fort Collins Carl's Jr

Police are seeking a man held a Carl Jr. restaurant using a hand covered with a bag.

The robbery happened at 421 Cowan Street  around 9:20 pm. on Wednesday, Feb. 3.

The man first approached the counter to order and then said he forgot his wallet.

He went outside and returned a few minutes later and attempted to order a breakfast item/

"When informed that breakfast items weren’t available, the suspect extended his hand, which was covered with a bag. He pointed his covered hand at the cashier, implying that he held a gun, and told the cashier to put money from both registers into a second bag that he supplied," Fort Collins Police Services said in a press release.

The suspect fled the store with the money.

A K9 was brought in to track the suspect and was unable to locate him.

Employees described the suspect as a light-skinned male, possibly Hispanic, 27-30 years old, 5’10”-5’11” tall, and 180-200 pounds

They said they could brown eyes, dark eyebrows and part of a goatee through his mask.
