CLIFTON, Colo. — In a second case of alleged parental kidnapping in Colorado in just one afternoon, police said a mother kidnapped her 10-month-old son.
The Mesa County Sheriff's Office sent an alert to the public Wednesday evening saying the mother, identified as 42-year-old Misty Nichols, was accused of taking her child from a location just before 4 p.m.
Deputies said at about 6:20 p.m. that the child was found safe and the mother was in custody.
