DENVER – Police said Monday afternoon they believe a man found dead in the Berkeley neighborhood just west of Federal Blvd. earlier in the morning was shot to death.
The Denver Police Department was originally called out to the 4000 block of N. Grove Street for a death investigation Monday morning.
By Monday afternoon, police said they were investigating the man’s death as a homicide, saying that it appeared he “died as a result of a shooting.”
Police did not release further details about the man’s death and asked people with information to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. The office of the medical examiner will release the identity of the victim.
