LONGMONT, Colo. – Police are searching for as many as three suspects who were caught on camera driving a vehicle through the front doors of a Longmont jewelry store and stole merchandise.

Police said the suspects used a Jeep Cherokee stolen from Colorado Springs to ram through the doors of Gold Marker Jewelers on Pace Street around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. The suspects then broke into the store’s display cases and stole jewelry.

Using another stolen vehicle – this one taken from Mead – the suspects then took off, police said.

According to police, the suspects fled in what appeared to be a silver 2001 Jeep Cherokee with Colorado license plate 469-MQX.

Police said the suspects may be armed and anyone who spots them should not approach them.

Anyone with information on this case should contact Detective Mark Deaton of the Longmont Police Department at 303-651-8517.
