Police locate 2 boys who had been missing since Tuesday morning from west Denver home

(UPDATE) Wednesday 7:52 a.m. — Denver police said they have found the two boys who went missing from a west Denver home Tuesday morning. They were found unharmed in the Denver metro area.


DENVER — Police in Denver are looking for two boys who disappeared Tuesday morning.

Antonio Vergara-Cottier, 12, and Shane Rigler, 10, were last seen together leaving a house near 29th Avenue and Hayward Place around 8:30 a.m., Denver police tweeted Tuesday evening.

The police bulletin did not include information on where the boys may have been heading or the circumstances behind their disappearance. Police said the two are comfortable using RTD.

Antonio is a 4 feet, 8 inches tall white male with black eyes, brown hair and wears glasses. He was last seen wearing a black and red sweatshirt.

Shane is 4 feet, 7 inches tall white male with brown hair. His eye color was not listed. He was last seen wearing a blue and yellow sweatshirt.
