ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Police said Tuesday evening that the investigation into a possible “shallow grave” earlier in the day showed it was just a hole with no human remains or anything else suspicious.

“There were no signs of human remains or anything suspicious located in the shallow grave,” Englewood police said.

The department said earlier Tuesday that its officers, along with FBI agents, were investigating the hole near Englewood Parkway and South Bannock Street. They had closed down a lane of eastbound Englewood Parkway while they investigated.
