Police investigating homicide on N. Clinton Street in Aurora

AURORA, Colo. — Police are investigating what happened to a woman who died after police found her with serious injuries in Aurora.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m. Monday, Aurora Police Department officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Clinton Street after receiving reports of an injured person in the area. When they arrived, they found a woman with a serious injury.

She was transported to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Officer Matthew Longshore with the police department said they cannot discuss the type or nature of her injuries, but said they were not self-inflicted.

Aurora police did not release any other information. They said there is no danger to the public.

The Aurora Police Major Crimes/Homicide Unit is investigating this case. Anybody who may be a witness, or has information about this homicide, is asked to call Aurora Police Agent Krieger at 303-739-6113.
