DENVER – Police are investigating a report of an attempted groping incident that allegedly occurred behind a fraternity house on the University of Denver campus over the weekend.

Denver Police responded to an alleyway along South Columbine Street behind the ZBT Fraternity House around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Police say a third-party reported the incident and that it appears the victim was approached but no physical contact was ever made.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s. He was wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and a long black jacket. He may have had a beard.

Campus security is urging students returning from spring break Monday to walk in groups and in well-lit areas.
