Police identify man accused of throwing heroin into doggy daycare

DENVER – Police on Thursday identified the man accused of throwing 17 bags of heroin into a doggy daycare, almost killing one dog who ate the drugs.

Christian Ramirez is accused of running from officers Tuesday after they allegedly saw him dealing heroin near 14^th and Speer.

In a story brought to you first by Denver7, he allegedly threw his supply into the nearby daycare, which several dogs got into.

One dog fell extremely ill and had to be revived with the overdose antidote Narcan and a charcoal flush.

Formal charges against Ramirez have yet to be filed, but Denver7 will bring you further updates when they happen.
