Police identify 14-year-old boy killed in Friday shooting in Stapleton

DENVER – Police said Monday that the juvenile killed in a shooting early Friday morning in Stapleton was a 14-year-old boy, and they are still looking for information about the shooting.

Aiden Lawrence, 14, was shot and killed near E. 54th Ave. and N. Xenia St. around 2:30 a.m. on Friday morning. The shooting was one of four that happened in Denver in a span of less than 12 hours and left three people dead.

Denver police have not released more information about the shooting.

Police and Crime Stoppers put out a bulletin Monday morning identifying Lawrence as the victim and asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
