A police chase in the middle of the day ended with one person arrested.

Police say the driver of a black Mercedes sedan didn't stop at a stop sign around 11 a.m. Deputies then pulled over Aaron Fuss at 11155 Motsenbocker Road in Parker.

As Douglas County deputies conducted the traffic stop, Fuss, 27, allegedly reversed his Mercedes and hit a marked Parker Police car and an officer.

Police say the driver fled, which led to the chase. Deputies used safety sticks and a PIT maneuver to stop Fuss.

Police used a taser of Fuss when he resisted arrest, investigators say.

The suspect was eventually taken into custody.

The officer's injuries were minor. No one else was hurt.

Charges include assault and reckless endangerment.

Multiple Denver7 viewers and employees saw the chase or the arrest and sent in photos showing multiple police units along with at least one ambulance and fire truck.
