SILT, Colo. (AP) -- Plans to drain Harvey Gap Reservoir north of Silt have been postponed.
The drain plans would allow officials to inspect a dam outlet. The plans were canceled after a portion of County Road 237 south of the reservoir collapsed.
According to the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel (http://tinyurl.com/zdlhrcv ), the road collapse was not related to the reservoir problems.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials have canceled a no-limits emergency fish salvage that went into effect Aug. 18.
