DENVER — A person was seriously injured after they were struck by a garbage truck in Denver Tuesday morning.
Doug Schepman with the Denver Police Department said officers are investigating a crash involving a Solid Waste Management garbage truck and an employee walking in a parking lot. The crash happened around 7 a.m. in a lot on the 5400 block of Roslyn Street.

The person was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Denver police traffic unit is investigating. Police have not released details on the crash or who may have been at fault.
