Two hospitals in Colorado Springs were locked down Monday.
First, Penrose Hospital was locked down because of a security concern, hospital officials told Denver7.
There were reports that the lockdown may have been prompted by the presence of a suspicious person, but hospital officials would only say that police responded, checked out the concern and the lockdown was lifted.
As the lockdown was ending, KRDO-TV reported that a second lockdown was being reported at Memorial Hospital.
Police are not saying if there's any connection between the two lockdowns or to the deadly shooting at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs last Friday. Six victims from the shooting at the Planned Parenthood clinic were sent to Penrose for treatment after the deadly attack on Friday.
