NORTHGLENN, Colo. — A female pedestrian was killed when police said a reckless SUV driver struck her before crashing into a fence in Northglenn Saturday morning. The male driver was arrested.
It happened around 11:40 a.m. in the 10400 block of Washington Street.
Officers responding to the crash spotted the SUV in the fence at Muriel Drive and Washington Street. Officers blocked the SUV and took one male suspect into custody, according to a Northglenn police release.
The female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.
