A pedestrian struck by a driver near Morrison did not survive the collision.
CSP responded to the scene on C-470 near Alameda Avenue on Sunday night.
CSP said the pedestrian was in the road for an unknown reason.
It's unclear if the driver stayed on scene or if charges will be filed.
The eastbound lanes were closed for the investigation. One lane reopened about an hour after the crash.
