PARKER, Colo. — Seven businesses were broken into in Parker early Monday morning.

Penny McLean, spokewoman with Parker Police Department, said the crimes all occurred between 3:11 and 3:39 a.m.

Alarms went off at two of the locations, alerting police, she said. Officers increased patrols in the area and discovered additional break-ins.

Shortly after 3 a.m., Parker police responded to one of the alarms at Colonna's Pizza, at 11215 S. Parker Road. Throughout the course of the investigation, and with the help of the Douglas County Sheriff's Office, six other businesses were found to have been burglarized as well, including:

  • Hangry Ohana, 10471 S. Parker Road

  • Donut House, 9807 S. Parker Road

  • Papa Murphy’s, 18741 Ponderosa Drive

  • La Casita Mexican Restaurant, 18951 E. Mainstreet

  • Honey Baked Ham, 18870 E. Plaza Drive

McLean said the investigation is still in its early stages, and it was unclear what had been stolen, but several cash registers had been located at the Parker United Methodist Church in Parker. Crime Scene Investigators were on scene and processing the evidence at this time.

Police were looking for any security video to help show what happened and identify the suspect or suspects. McLean said the suspect is a male dressed in all black.
