DENVER – The area’s first Operation Save a Life campaign is set to kick off March 30, and Denver7 is proudly teaming up with several companies across the metro area to deliver free fire and carbon monoxide alarms to at-risk residents.
Operation Save a Life is a community program that not only delivers these alarms to at-risk residents, it also educates consumers on how to stay safe.
Denver7 is teaming up with Kidde, leading manufacturer of resident smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and fire extinguishers, as well as The Home Depot and the Denver Fire Department.
Kidde will donate a total of 7,000 alarms to Denver area fire departments.
Denver7 will host a press conference followed by an alarm distribution event on Thursday, March 30. Guests will include firefighters from around the region.
Local residents interested in receiving a free smoke or carbon monoxide alarm can reach out to their fire department for more information.
Metro residents can learn about fire and carbon monoxide safety by attending Operation Save a Life’s event this Saturday, April 1. Kidde representatives will be available from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at participating The Home Depot stores:
