ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. - If you've been looking for a reason to spread a little kindness, perhaps give a random compliment, this week might be a good time.
Anythink Libraries in Adams County are hosting the One Kind Word Project all week.
The project is inspired by the Japanese proverb: "One kind word can warm three winter months."
This week-long initiative encourages participants to create custom cards and write notes of kindness to strangers.
"We've been talking about doing a district-wide compassion program for a long time," said Stacie Ledden, director of innovations and brand strategy at Anythink Libraries. "Spreading a little love and kindness and inspiration."
Materials for creating these custom cards are all provided at each location by Anythink.
