DENVER -- The Colorado Department of Transportation is launching new Bustang routes to Broncos games from Fort Collins and Colorado Springs.
CDOT is running a test of the program for Sunday’s game vs. the Atlanta Falcons, and the game on Sunday, Oct. 30 vs. the San Diego Chargers.
The busses get fans to a parking lot that sits just to the south of the stadium.
“I like that we're parked right out here in front," said one fan.
”My wife Jeanice said, 'Hey, why don't we just take the Bustang down? That'd be great,'" said John Hansen. “So, I called up, got a reservation. It was so easy."
“And it was comfortable. Used wifi on the way down. It was very nice," said Jeanice Hansen.
CDOT says it saw a need and decided to give it a shot.

The service is an effort to ease congestion and offer fans a safe alternative to driving.
”There was a state patrol woman who got hit by someone attending the Broncos game (last season) who had been drinking and driving," said CDOT spokesman Bob Wilson.
That state trooper, Jamie Jusevics, was killed when she was hit last November. The retired Army colonel who hit her, Eric Henderson, was sentenced to eight years in prison. He admitted to drinking all day at a Broncos game before the crash.
For fans, it certainly beats the madness of driving.
”It was well worth it. Just comfortable the whole ride," said a fan.
The service is $30 round-trip from both Ft. Collins and Colorado Springs.
The busses arrive an hour-and-a-half before kickoff.
