COMMERCE CITY, Colo. — A barn fire in Commerce City Saturday resulted in “multiple horse fatalities,” the South Adams Fire Department tweeted.
The fire broke out around noon at a barn in the 8300 block of Pontiac Street. Firefighters said the structure is a total loss.
Authorities said eight horses died in the fire. South Adams Fire officials said there were no other injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
