DENVER – The week got off to a bang Monday with a damaging hail storm and we’re not out of the woods just yet – more severe weather is possible throughout the week.
Monday saw severe thunderstorm warnings for much of the eastern half of Colorado and large hail damaged cars, broke windows and even forced the closure of the Colorado Mills mall in Lakewood.
The evening hours should be mostly quiet, though parts of the eastern plains could see more severe weather overnight.

Tuesday will bring the threat of more thunderstorms, but conditions likely won’t be as bad as they were Monday. Cool and rainy weather will stick around throughout the week and sunshine returns in time for the weekend.
