'Missing teen alert' issued for 16-year-old Grand Junction boy

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A teen whose been missing for more than two weeks has gotten the attention of Mesa County officials.

The Mesa County Department of Human Services issued on Friday what it calls a missing teen alert for 16-year-old Elijah Murry.

It’s unclear if he is considered a runaway as details surrounding his disappearance are not known.

Elijah was last seen on April 19 at 1842 North 7th Street.  

He is about 5'9" and weighs about 140 pounds. He has blonde hair and hazel eyes.
