SAUGET, IL. -- Imagine this happening in Colorado Springs to the Sky Sox: A top tier batter knocks a home run out of the park, netting a grand slam for his team, only to learn the fly ball smashed the batter's own windshield.
That was a reality for Brandon Thomas, who hit a grand slam deep over the wall of the Gateway Grizzlies' left field on Sunday night.
Right away, fans and the team knew the ball smashed a windshield. Only later did Thomas realize his accomplishment also came with a price tag.
Thomas could only say on Twitter, "Definitely worth it!"
The before and after from last night lol still can't believe this really happened pic.twitter.com/nlBK1tfFpo
