PUEBLO, Colo. – The most decorated Olympian in history was back in Colorado this week, but he wasn’t training in Colorado Springs.
Michael Phelps, the 23-time Olympic gold medalist, was in Pueblo on Labor Day and surprised employees and locals at The Place Eatery and Angelo’s on the Riverwalk, the Pueblo Chieftain reports.
He was in town for a funeral of his fiancée’s family member.
