LOVELAND, Colo. — Police and their K-9 partners are searching for diamond thieves who broke into two stores in Loveland early Thursday morning.
Officers say Helzberg Diamonds and Zales both fell victim to the smash and grab thieves, who utilized a vehicle to smash into the storefronts.
Between the time of the crash and the police arrival four minutes later, the thieves had made off with diamonds and other jewelry from inside the shops.
Police say they utilized a helicopter, along with K-9 units to hunt the suspects.
