DENVER – Good morning! Here’s what you need to know today, Monday, July 24.

1. Mark Redwine appears in court
Mark Redwine, who was arrested Saturday in connection with the 2012 death of his 13-year-old son Dylan, will appear in Whatcom County Superior Court in Bellingham, Wash., at 3 p.m. on charges of second-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death. 2.  KidsGiving365
Denver Public School students are organizing a fundraiser to help less fortunate kids go back to school with everything they need to succeed. Participate through their website here.

3. RMNP Preservation closures
A major pavement preservation project continues in Rocky Mountain National Park. Expect up to 20 minute delays on Trail Ridge Road from the Fall River Entrance to Rainbow Curve starting today until Aug. 7.

4. Trial for double-stabbing suspects in Fort Collins begins
The trial for one of the suspects involved in a double-stabbing of two women in Fort Collins will begin today.

5. CU Boulder to conduct drills at Folsom Field
The CU Boulder Police Department will conduct the last emergency preparedness exercise today, after a five-day drill. During the exercise, access to the stadium will be limited.
