LONGMONT, Colo. -- The Longmont City Council officially reversed its ban on pot shops in a 4-3 vote Tuesday night.
The ordinance will allow up to four marijuana retailers in the city.
What changed council member's minds?
Pot sales could bring in about $315,000 in annual tax revenue. Part of that money will be used for affordable housing.
It may be a year or more before retail pot shops are up and running.
