Apparently, there’s no shame in procrastinating when it comes to holiday shopping.
According to the National Retail Federation, as of Tuesday, 90 percent of Americans had not yet finished their holiday shopping.
Underscoring that point, Denver7 discovered it was a mad house Wednesday at Flatiron Crossing Mall.

“People checking things off their lists,” said Heather Drake, senior marketing manager at Flatiron.
“I’m not done,” said shopper Shelley Baca.
This last minute rush is a tradition for so many.
“Lliterally, the last three or four days have been just like - buckle down. Everyone’s coming in,” said Kavon Nikmanesh, manager at B.C. Surf and Sport.
Consumer confidence at Flatiron appears strong.
“We’ve been trending up every month this year,” said Drake. “So, we expect the same for the holiday season.”
Mall occupancy is above 95 percent in terms of retail space, and several stores have remodeled this year.
“When retailers reinvest back in their space, it shows really great confidence,” said Drake.
Retailers certainly aren't complaining. Procrastinators around the U.S. are providing a much-needed boost to stores after a sluggish start to the holiday shopping season.
According to Shoppertrak, U.S. stores experienced a double-digit sales decline on Black Friday compared to Black Friday last year.
