EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. — Two people and three dogs were found dead in a home in El Paso County.
Around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, deputies were dispatched to the 35800 block of Wagner Lane. They had received a report that there was a dead man and three dead dogs inside a home.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found the man, a woman and the dogs all deceased, according to the El Paso County’s Office.
During the investigation, deputies learned that the reporting party was the husband of the woman who died. He said they lived with one other male at the address. He said he talked with his wife two weeks before the night of the blizzard.
His wife said there was no power in the residence at that time. The husband said he wasn’t able to get in touch with her after that.
The man was identified as 55-year-old James Tomsik and the woman was identified as 50-year-old Lana Senna.
