A man was shot multiple times in a neighborhood in Adams County just before midnight.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office told Denver7 deputies were called out on a report of a home invasion in the 1200-block of E. 85th Place at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday.
When deputies arrived they found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to the hospital, but his condition is unknown, authorities said.
The description of the suspects is vague. The Adams County Sheriff's Office would only say the suspects were described as being African-American males in their twenties, wearing dark clothing.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office said investigators believe this was not a random act.
