LOVELAND, Colo. – A man was killed in an officer-involved shooting following a crash in Loveland late Saturday night, police said.
An officer had responded to a rollover car crash involving the man on Colorado 402, between South St. Louis Avenue and Boise Avenue. The officer reported that the man was armed with a pistol, according to a police news release.
Shots were fired during the exchange, police said, and the man was fatally struck. More information about the shooting was not released Sunday.
The 8th Judicial District's Critical Incident Response Team is investigating the shooting.
