DENVER — A man in a wheelchair was struck and killed by a vehicle along West Colfax Avenue on Friday morning, police said.
A driver ran a red light at Colfax and North Irving Street, striking the victim, who was taken to a hospital and died. The crash was reported by police about 7:30 a.m.
The driver stayed at the scene and was cited for careless driving resulting in death, police said. More information was not yet available later Friday.
