LAKEWOOD, Colo. – A homicide investigation is underway after police found a 21-year-old man dead at a hotel in Lakewood early Monday.
Police responded to the Crossland Denver extended-stay hotel at 715 Kipling St. around 12:30 a.m. after receiving reports that witnesses heard gunshots there.
Officers found one man dead at the scene.
Police said Monday afternoon the victim was 21 years old, and that a man who showed up at an area hospital after the incident was being considered as a person of interest in the case, but had not been arrested.
