FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- A man and dog are dead after they were hit by a semi on I-25 near Fort Collins.
The Colorado State Patrol says the fatal accident happened at 5:30pm near the Harmony Road exit on Northbound I-25 Sunday.
CSP says a man and woman were having an argument while driving. When the woman pulled over to the side of the highway, a dog in their car jumped out and ran into the road.
The passenger, a 39-year-old man from Tennessee, chased the dog. Both were hit and killed by a semi truck, according to CSP. The driver stayed on scene.
