DENVER — A man died following a shooting at 29th Avenue and Downing Street Wednesday evening.
The Denver Police Department said its officers responded to a shooting that was called in around 9:40 p.m. A man was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Early Thursday morning, police said the man - whom the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner identified as 21-year-old Yaun Yae Long, had died at the hospital.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances around the shooting and information on a suspect or suspects. The OME classified his manner of death as homicide.
