Man dies after assault at gas station in Boulder, police say

BOULDER, Colo. — A man died after he was assaulted at a gas station in Boulder on Thursday, police said.

Officers responded about 5:20 p.m. to a Circle K gas station at 1480 Canyon, where a 911 caller reported the assault, according to a news release.

The victim was reportedly unconscious and the suspect fled before officers arrived. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, and the suspect was arrested.

More information about the suspect or the assault was not available Friday morning.
