BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A man died after he was pulled from a waterway in Boulder County Wednesday evening.
Around 6 p.m. on Wednesday, authorities received a request for a water rescue in Middle Boulder Creek.
Deputies with Boulder County Sheriff's Office, plus the Nederland Police Department, Boulder County Open Space officers, Nederland Fire Department and an ambulance, responded to the 32000 block of Boulder Canyon Drive.
A 27-year-old man was pulled from the creek, but was unconscious and not breathing, according to the sheriff's office.
Medical professionals started resuscitation efforts at the scene.
The man was transported to Boulder Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The sheriff's office said there were no signs of foul play.
The man's name has not been released.
