Man crashes car into pet store, steals 6 puppies in Thornton

THORNTON, Colo – Police in Thornton are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a man wanted for a smash-and-grab burglary of a pet store.

Surveillance video shows him stealing six puppies valued at nearly $15,000.

The man drove a vehicle through the front of the Pet Ranch, 3833 E. 120th Ave., and removed six puppies from their cages before fleeing, according to police.

The burglary occurred Thursday night around 10 p.m.
