GREELEY, Colo. – This isn’t your typical Airbnb listing.

It’s not a downtown condo or a quaint house in a trendy neighborhood, but just outside of Greeley there’s a Western-style fort that could be perfect for you and 36 of your closest friends.

The Airbnb listing for the Platte River Fort says it was built as a replica of Bent’s Old Fort in La Junta. It’s situated on 235 acres east of town and after taxes and fees, it costs just under $5,000 a night to rent.

Platte River Fort features 10 bedrooms, a gourmet chef’s kitchen and dining room, outdoor bar and kitchen, a barn and lots of patio and lounge space. The Airbnb listing says it can accommodate 37 overnight guests.

Overnight guests at Platte River Fort can take advantage of the venue’s activities such as skeet shooting, archery, river tubing, hayrides and of course, nightly s’mores.

If you’re balking at the nearly-$5,000 price tag, the listing says smaller group packages and wedding packages are available and priced separately.
