LITTLETON, Colo. -- A Littleton woman came home to find everything she owns left outside in the cold December temperatures.

Ramona Neiderheiser was evicted from the Pines at Marston Lake in Littleton Monday morning but claims she didn’t receive any notice.

“They said they had served me last Wednesday, and I never received the eviction notice," Neiderheiser said.

Neiderheiser drives for Uber to make ends meet. She said she was short on rent and sought help from a Littleton non-profit, Brothers Redevelopment.

"Brothers Redevelopment was helping me. They were going to pay 80 percent of my rent; I was paying 20,” she said.

However, Neiderheiser said the complex would not accept the grant money from the charity organization.

"I went to go pay the rent, and the landlord would not accept the W-9. And I've been evicted," Neiderheiser said.

The Littleton woman says she has nowhere to turn.

"I have two dogs… and I can't drive for Uber because I have the two dogs in the car," she said.

Management at Pines at Marston Lake did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
