FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Fans of Little Man Ice Cream Company in Denver will soon have the chance to experience a version of the nostalgia-inspired ice cream parlor in Fort Collins.
Little Man Ice Cream’s newest sister location, Old Town Churn Ice Cream, is hosting its grand opening Saturday at noon. Ice cream lovers of all ages are invited to partake in the festivities, which will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, free Lil’ Dips for all, live music, a pumpkin carving contest, costume competition with prizes and trick-or-treating with the Old Town Churn’s neighbors, The Exchange. A silent disco costume ball will run from 8-11 p.m.
The Old Town Churn is located at 200 N. College Ave. It’s hard to miss — the business is housed in a 26-foot tall ice cream churn, accented with a 2,000-pound hand crank. It will serve a rotating line of Little Man’s handcrafted ice cream, shakes, malts, sundaes, banana splits and ice cream sandwiches. In addition, it will offer exclusive Churn flavors and seasonal selections that will highlight its partnerships with Fort Collins craft breweries and local farms.
