DENVER – Good morning! Here’s what you need to know today, Thursday, Nov. 30.

1. Public meeting on possible opioid injection sites in Denver
Denver city officials are hosting a meeting Thursday about public policy solutions to the opioid crises. Some of the ideas that will be discussed are the establishments of opioid injection sites in Denver. The public meeting begins at 5:30 p.m. at Mile High United Way, 711 Park Avenue West.

2. Matt Lauer issues apology
The fired 'Today' co-host issued a statement Thursday saying he's "truly sorry" for the pain he's caused. "As I am writing this I realize the depth of the damage and disappointment I have left behind at home and at NBC," he said.

3. Rep. Lebsock to make decision on current role, Colorado Treasury Race
Rep. Steve Lebsock is set to make an announcement regarding his current position as a State Representative and his candidacy as State Treasurer following multiple allegations of sexual harassment. 

4. C-470 closure
There will be an overnight closure of eastbound C-470 at Broadway to move a concrete paver. The closure will occur from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m on Thursday. Detours will be the Broadway on and off ramps.

5. More dry weather on the way
A weak cold front will race through the state on Thursday, but it will be another dry system. Our temperatures will cool a few degrees, with low 50s across the plains and 40s in the mountains.
